At first I thought he was making fun of me - I never was the type to read self-help things. But this is not a typical self-help book, once I did start to read it and I started applying what it said there, I was amazed to see that it actually worked! At first, when we broke up, I was really angry with her, I thought she dumped me for no reason, but now I know that I had a share of the blame too. I was able to show her that I can change and that I can be what she wants me to be. We've been back together for two weeks now and it's better than it was when we first started. Heads up for all of you: The "no contact period" you will read about in the book might seem like it has no sense at all - not to mention that it will be a very difficult and lonely period. However, this step is MANDATORY, it is the most intelligent thing to do and I'm sure that no effort of yours will work if you skip this step.
